The Situation

OneNeck IT Solutions is a global provider of unified information technology consulting, outsourcing and integration services to mid-market manufacturing and distribution companies. With clients at revenues of $50 million to $2 billion, OneNeck supports thousands of users globally, with services such as a 24/7 customer support center, data center management, application and database management, application development and functional support, e-business integration, disaster recovery and network management services.

The Challenge

Being a premier provider of IT solutions required the establishment of a strong Internet presence.  Online branding and communications was considered crucial to delivering information on OneNeck’s services.  The breadth and depth of OneNeck’s offering needed a widely available forum to decrease traditional marketing costs and raise awareness.  The company's initial Web site needed updated content and visual appeal to support offline sales and marketing efforts.

The Response

OneNeck and Essemble established the need for a more attractive and informative Internet presence.  Developing a usable product for visitors to learn more was crucial to successfully enhancing OneNeck’s position as a premier IT solutions destination.

Essemble designed a look and feel consistent with printed collateral.  The site interface was designed to facilitate ready access to information.  Essemble identified key selling points and positions, while designing the information architecture.  Iterative reviews of the architecture were conducted to refine message delivery.

To facilitate future maintenance and updating needs, Essemble integrated its custom Content Management System (CMS) from the essembleSBS custom software product family.  This functionality enabled OneNeck in-house staff to update the site in a easy and timely fashion.  OneNeck and Essemble collaborated to develop content that would invite inquiry and inform site visitors about OneNeck’s robust service offering.

The Result

The team at Essemble delivered a Web site that showcased OneNeck’s strengths in a user-friendly and attractive manner.  Visitation to the Web site increased after establishing the site in search engines, and OneNeck garnered new business opportunity within several months of going live.  Most importantly, the site has successfully increased brand awareness.
