The Situation

GAME is a cutting-edge innovator in the special-event marketing and merchandise industry. With a strong presence throughout the United States and seven other countries, GAME provides services to diverse non-profit organizations that raise millions of dollars for charities across the globe. GAME products and services drive more than 400 events per year, generating an annual revenue of $4.2 million.

The merchandise side produces a retail line of duck toy products, a wholesale line of bed and bath accessories and duck and turtle pool and spa products. In addition to its events and retail product line, GAME also stages client-training seminars and organizes "Mini Duck Races" for small organizations and civic groups.

The Challenge

Since 1988, GAME has been in a constant state of evolution in terms of customer relationship care and product/service delivery.  Their organization needed to match its growth rate with efficient marketing and customer-support processes.

The Response

Through multiple engagements over several years, Essemble has helped GAME keep pace with its own results and continue to generate increased activity.  Most recently, the Essemble team worked with GAME to produce a more efficient and effective Internet presence and bolster its marketing efforts.

The content management and email marketing components of essembleES, Essemble’s business productivity software, were integrated with an enhanced Web site design.  The new look and feel were developed to communicate the GAME brand more successfully while the software components facilitated a dynamic and demanding environment of content updating and marketing efforts.

The Result

Since the implementation of these components, marketing has become more responsive and simplified for GAME.  In-house staff members are updating and promoting their products and services with content management and email marketing, yielding a dramatic increase in weekly traffic.  Since launch, the GAME Web site has received a steady increase in new visitors.  Their secured online client services are increasing in usage which translates into happier and more responsive customers.
